A 311 Senior Specialist will be on hand to assist residents with
General information
Referrals, and
Purchase of items such as baby stroller permits, dog tags, transit passes and more
NOTE: For more details on EASY Card and Ticket purchases, refer to the topic: Transit EASY Card and Ticket Info, tab: 311 Service Centers.
Residents will have self-service options including a touch screen kiosk for making payments to the County, schedule service or search public records and maps, as well as a phone that connects directly to the 311 Answer Center. The South Dade location will have a full service transit vending machine that accepts all forms of payment. -
Dog Tags are sold at all three service locations.
Forms of Payment at 311 Service Centers:- Money Orders or Checks* (from a local financial institution only) along with a driver license or other federal/state issued picture I.D. Make checks & Money Orders payable to: Miami Dade Animal Services Department
- Business checks - The person presenting the check must have a valid driver's license which will be noted on the check. Checks cannot be blank and must have a business name, address and phone number.
NOTE: Credit Cards and cash are not accepted at these locations.

Assistance with the process of obtaining, replacement and renewal of the following Transit EASY Cards are available at all three locations, as follows:
- Golden Passport
- Patriot Passport
- Discount Fare
- Pre-School ID
- Transit Mobility
- Commuter Reduced Fare EASY Card, new application, renewal and replacements, and
NOTE: All applications, renewals or replacements processed at the 311 Service Centers take approximately ten to fifteen (10 to 15) business days to process and applicants receive their new cards by mail.
Payments: *Remember only Money Orders are accepted at 311 Service Centers for EASY Card replacement fees*
Options:
- Once the card has been processed, it will be mailed to the Card holder by MDT. (Customers no longer go back to the offices to pick up their cards).
- Remind Card holders to keep their addresses current.
For callers who renewed in person at the 311 Service Center and state that they did not receive a call back, advise them to contact the GP EASY Card Center at 786-469-5028 or visit the office at 111 NW First Street, SPCC Lobby, Miami, FL 33128.
NOTE TO 311 SENIOR CALL SPECIALISTS: For Lost or Stolen Special passes, GP, PP, etc. EASY Cards please confirm that caller has an AFCS Issue Number to process request for replacement. If not, please open and provide AFCS Issue Number when requesting.

The 311 Service Centers will assist tax payers, wishing to pay with a valid checking account or credit card, to make an online payment with the use of a computer.
Very Important: The 311 Service Centers will assist tax payers, wishing to pay with a valid checking account or credit card, to make an online payment with the use of a computer. 311 Representatives at Service Centers will not be accepting payments on behalf of The Tax Collector.
To pay property taxes in person, advise caller to visit theTax Collector's Office

ONLINE PAYMENT -If any of the following conditions exist, the property does not qualify for this method of payment, and the "PAY NOW" button will not be available:
- Property owner is protected by the Confidentiality Act
- Property has prior year taxes due
- Property with taxes in bankcruptcy or litigation
- Property taxes are held in escrow by Mortgage Company
NOTE: If caller claims to be responsible for payment of taxes, because taxes are no longer held in escrow by Mortgage Co., or mortgage has been satisfied, a note, stating so, must be faxed to the TC Control Unit at 305-375-1142. With this written authorization the TC will make the "PAY NOW" button available within 24 hours.
If the "PAY NOW" click button is available, one of the following forms of payment will be required:- A valid regular checking account, U.S. funds drawn on a U.S. bank
- Credit Card (VISA, MASTERCARD, or DISCOVER) American Express not accepted
Steps:
- Visit www.miamidade.gov
- Under Popular Services, click on Property Taxes
- Select property taxes being paid (Real Estate or Tangible Personal Property)
- Enter folio number or property address
- Verify that obtained information is correct
- A green "PAY NOW" click button must be available
- Have your form of payment information ready and click the button
If using a regular checking account for payment:- A help screen will show you how to retrieve the routing and account numbers from your check
- Payments may only be accepted from a valid regular checking account. U.S. funds drawn from a U.S. bank
- Equity Lines of Credit, and other Investment Accounts cannot be processed through E-checking
- Funds must be available for immediate withdrawal
