Wellness Works 5K Family Fun Day

The third annual Miami-Dade County Wellness Works 5k "Super" Family Fun Day is happening Saturday, Oct. 19, 7 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. at the Miami Seaquarium, 4400 Rickenbacker Causeway, Miami, FL 33149.

Registration runs Aug. 1 - Sept. 27. During early registration, Aug. 1 - Sept. 15, tickets are $5 per person. During late registration, Sept. 16-27, tickets will be $10 per person.

Registration is required for racers and non-racers. You will not be able to register on-site the day of the event, no exceptions.

With your ticket, you'll get:

• Entry to the 5k race and walk (open to all fitness levels)
• Entrance to the Miami Seaquarium and access to the attraction until 6 p.m.
• Half off Animal Encounters (pre-book before event)
• Event t-shirt
• Activities include rock wall, yoga, inflatables and more
• Super Scavenger Hunt hosted by the Dade County Federal Credit Union with special prizes including Miami Dolphins tickets
• Discounted Seaquarium Annual Pass for $20 with wristband

Parking:

• Before 9:30am - complimentary
• After 9:30am - $10 (no exceptions)

Activity Schedule:

• 7 a.m. Experienced racers start*
• 7:15 a.m. General race starts
• 7:30 a.m. Yoga for all levels
• 9 a.m. Awards Ceremony
• 9:30 a.m. Yoga for all levels

*If you are interested in being part of the 7 a.m. race corrals, please indicate this during registration for placement. We strongly encourage serious runners to attend our informational session in regards to the course prior to the race date.
