Wellness Under the Stars
Celebrate your fellow colleagues who have shown themselves to be committed to helping others live healthier. Attend the Wellness Under the Stars Awards Ceremony on Jan. 7, 2020 at Jungle Island's Luminosa Chinese Lantern Festival to meet the winners.
The nomination period is closed. Nominees will be issued two event tickets and be recognized at the awards ceremony. Nominating departments are eligible to receive up to five complimentary tickets to attend so they can cheer on their nominee. Additional discounted tickets will be available for purchase by employees.

Buy Luminosa Chinese Lantern Festival TicketsNova Award – Wellness Warrior
The Nova Award will recognize the Wellness Warrior. The honored nominee is an innovator who actively participates, develops engagement and finds ways to inspire and motivate their peers and coworkers within the area of health and wellness. This employee exemplifies and encourages wellness within their lives and workplace.
Galaxy Award – Wellness Worksite Award
The Galaxy Award will recognize the 2020 Wellness Worksite Award. A County department, division, section or location that exemplifies wellness in their everyday operations. This worksite supports participation in WellnessWorks programming and has developed additional innovative ways to engage and promote employee wellness within their location or division.
Zenith Award – Wellness Liaison Award
The Zenith Award will recognize the 2020 Wellness Liaison. The honored nominee is an outstanding department liaison for the WellnessWorks program and the Miami-Dade County Wellness Committee. This employee promotes health and wellness within their respective department. The nominee educates, promotes, and initiates participation in wellness initiatives and activities within their department, team and with coworkers.
