Mayor's Message - Employee Recognition Month 

Miami-Dade County will celebrate our workforce throughout March and invites County employees and departments to celebrate by sharing photos of employees thriving at work. Photos will be shared with the County family on the I THRIVE website. Use the hashtag #EAM2025 with your department acronym at the end.

Employee Appreciation Month Events:

• March 4: Stephen P Clark Center (SPCC) - Employee Appreciation Station and Biometric Screenings from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
• March 7: Glow to Thrive Afterhours Wellness event at Tropical Park at 6 p.m.
• March 11: Overtown Transit Village North - Employee Appreciation Station and Biometric Screenings from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
• March 13: Monthly Service Awards Presentations at BCC Chambers at 9 a.m.
• March 21: Aviation Department - Employee Appreciation Station and Biometric Screenings from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
• March 26: Corrections Headquarters - Employee Appreciation Station and Biometric Screenings from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Employees can learn about valuable programs offered, including WellnessWorks, Employee Support Services, I THRIVE and the IDEA Machine. Benefit providers, the Dade County Federal Credit Union, Tropical Federal Credit Union, AAA and others will join these events which will include giveaways and surprises.
