Miami-Dade County will celebrate our workforce throughout March and invites County employees and departments to participate by sharing photos of employees thriving at work. Photos will be shared with the County family on the I THRIVE website. 

Be sure to use the hashtag #EAM2026 followed by your department acronym – for example, #EAM2026MDFR.

Employee Appreciation Month Events

• March 3 – Department of Solid Waste Management - Employee Appreciation Station and Biometric Screening, 6:30 a.m. - 10 a.m.
• March 4 – Water and Sewer Department (Douglas) - Employee Appreciation Station and Biometric Screening, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
• March 5 – Monthly Service Awards Presentations at BCC Chambers, 9 a.m.
• March 6 – Glow to Thrive Afterhours Wellness Event at Tropical Park, 6 p.m.
• March 11 – Water and Sewer Department (Lejune) - Employee Appreciation Station and Biometric Screening, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
• March 17 – Animal Services Department - Employee Appreciation Station, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
• March 19 - OTV - Employee Appreciation Station, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
• March 24 - Communications, Information and Technology Department (87 Ave.) - Employee Appreciation Station, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Employees can also learn more about valuable programs, including WellnessWorks, Employee Support Services, I THRIVE and the IDEA Machine. Benefit providers, other merchants will join these events, which will feature giveaways and surprises.
