To obtain an Orange Belt, employees must be Yellow Belt-certified and attend 8 of the 15 courses from the Orange Belt and Blue Belt sections, including the class Building a Culture of Continuous Improvement, along with completing class assignments. Yellow Belts and Green Belts not interested in pursuing a higher belt level are welcome to enroll on a per-class basis.
Prerequisites: Yellow Belt or Green Belt certification
Purpose: To learn about tools for gaining a better understanding of customer needs and requirements; specifically to help identify and understand customer needs and requirements so that County government can better meet them.

To understand how to identify Customer Valid Requirements from S.I.P.O.C. outputs
To understand the application of a customer requirements matrix
