Glow to Thrive

Light up the sky with your fitness glow at Glow to Thrive After Dark Wellness Festival 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. June 10 at Tropical Park. Join Mayor Daniella Levine Cava and celebrate our ability to thrive together in healthy and fun ways.

Glow and Thrive event starts with a healthy happy hour full of refreshments and light snacks. Participants can take a spin on a bike to make a blender glow.

Bring family and friends and enjoy the following:

  • Get your sweat going by completing the exercise glow circuit
  • Engage with local business, vendor sponsors and many County departments
  • Do some yoga and tai chi under the trees
  • Join the scavenger hunt sponsored by Dade County Federal Credit Union. Visit to download the GooseChase app and enter game code QEBKEG to play
  • Children of all ages get to jump, bounce and glow in the Kids Zone
  • Get glow-fabulous at the glow paint stations
  • Enjoy music and giveaways

Once the sun sets you'll see attendees with glow paint and glow sticks light up.

You can buy food at Tropical Park’s Food Truck Friday area.

Register for this free event by June 3 for a chance to win a bicycle. The winner will be announced at the event.

Parking for the event will be available at the Bird Road entrance.

Eligible AvMed employees may receive 25 Wellness Points for registering and attending the event. To receive points be sure to include your AvMed ID number on your registration form, print your registration confirmation and submit at the event registration table.
